2016 Retriever Trials:

Our congratulations go to Sandy Robertson who handled his Labrador dog Garshake Dillon to win our Open Retriever Trial and make the dog up to a FTCh under judges Philip Turner, Richard Johnston, Thomas Brady and Ian Christie on 24th October. Once again, we were at Altyre Estate by the kind permission of Sir Alasdair Gordon-Cumming and keeper Peter Cairney. Once again we would like to thank them for putting on such a good day and having us back there again. We would also like to thank our sponsors Judges Choice dog food, CD McNeill and D & FM Sporting as well as everyone who helped us on the day.

Our Novice Retriever Trial took place at Allangrange Estate on 29th October. Judges for the day were Tom Smith, Gary Youngson, Tom Forgie & Kevin Haynes. We wish to thank them again for agreeing to judge for us and our hosts and guns at Allangrange.

Sadly there were no awards given this year so that means we’ll have time to get an extra special shine polished onto the trophies for next year!
